tendons stuck in scar tissue
I had an operation in february 2008 and have been told by physio the tendons are stuck in the scar tissue and I may need an operation to release them or I will not be able to bend my index finger anymore than I can already. The consultant may not agree to do another surgical procedure. Anyone else had any problems like this. |

Re: tendons stuck in scar tissue
Yes, I had the same thing happen twice after surgery on small pip . Scat tissue behind the knuckle causing all kinds of trouble. When I had the 2nd surgery on the same location they said they would remove the scar tissue and after that surgery it came right back!! I have had treatments (lazer) to soften the scar tissue and do a lot more massage on that area. I think that some people just form scar more than others. Now NA is not an option for me due to my scaring.. be careful and get a 2nd opinion before you go under the knife again... J Ann |
