5 Years, Hands Are Good
I haven't been on here in awhile but i thought it would be good to touch bases with everyone. It has been 5 years since i was diagnosed with Dupuytren's and its been 5 years since i had radiation on both of my hands. Everything is good. Hands are still in remission. I have little things that bother me but can live with it. My palms of hands cramp once in a while and my hands swell at different times where i feel like i have boxing gloves on. Hands are weak and dry and right hand gets like a block of ice at night only when sleeping. So for all you thinking about RT go for it because it was the smartest thing i've ever did and if hands get bad i will run to get RT again. I want to thank my wonderful doctor who did my treatments. Thank you Dr. Cozad. And for everyone that is curious on what my hands look nike 5 years later here is a photo

Re: 5 Years, Hands Are Good
Everyone's experience seems to be different. My hand that I had RT worked for about 6 months maybe. My hand that I had surgery on is perfect for over 12 years.
