Callous or dupuytren's?

I'm hoping I can use the term dupuytren's to refer also to the same condition in the foot. I forgot the technical name for the type in the foot. Anyway I have a callous like place on the inside bottom edge of one foot and while it looks like a callous it seems to have more mass in depth and I cannot remember that area rubbing against anything over a period of time. I do have a small amount of dupuytren's in the hand and some definite cords in the bottom of my feet. Before i try to file this down like a callous I wanted to ask can the two look alike ? If I were to file it down and it were dupuytrens what would happen? I have not found a local dr. who specializes that I can get any soon attention with. This is tender like a callous that has become a problem. Thanks Bogs

Welcome bogs

The equivalent condition on the feet is called Lederhosen (LD) or Plantar Fibromatosis.

But see a Doctor or Podiatrist for a diagnosis, and before self help with a file. It may be something else, but you may also make it worse.

If the diagnosis is confirmed as LD, all the info you want is on this site.
