Dupuytren and Vitamin B6

Hi,

I recently listened to an old (year 2000) interview with the jazz pianist Dave Brubeck, he recently died aged 92. He stated that he had Dupuytren's disease and had taken vast quantities of vitamin B6 which had helped a lot. Does anyone know about this type of treatment as I can't find any reference to B6 and Dupuytren anywhere?
Any comments would be appreciated.

Dave.

Vitamin B6 CAS no.65-23-6 is a family of B vitamins comprising pyridoxal(including its salts), pyridoxamine(including its salts) and pyridoxine(including its salts). Vitamin B6 is widely used as nutrition supplements as it acts an important role in many reactions of amino acid metabolism.
