Has anyone tried Probiotics?
Has anyone tried these? Did it make your condition better or worse?
I was reading several articles yesterday on how they believe gut bacteria plays a part in auto immune diseases. Especially Rheumatoid arthritis. It makes me wonder if they could help our conditions? Years ago I had to use antibiotics for a good five years straight. So it would make sense that my gut bacteria would all be messed up. I'm considering trying them.

Re: Has anyone tried Probiotics?
I don't think that Dupuytren's is an auto-immune disease and probiotics is a marketing means of the food industry, nothing that can help with Dupyutren disease. You might have a look at "Treatment" in the above menu to find more about proven treatments and comments on more experimental ones.

Re: Has anyone tried Probiotics?
Most doctors consider the disease an auto immune disorder. Regardless I did not make the post to debate that. I'm simply asking if anyone's tried any, if so did they see any changes? I could not find any posts on the matter.

What doctors? Not those attending the symposiums or publishing their research results. More here http://dupuytrens.org/faq/why-do-people-get-dupuytrens/.

I've been taking probiotics off and on for years for stomach issues. My DD has continued to get worse.
