Re: Help please - When can I start work after RT?

I have not met with RT doc yet. Flying out of state to meet with him and then staying for week of RT. I have had nodules for years not knowing or worrying what they were until a cord formed in one of my hands.

I had no side effects from RT and it never occurred to me to curtail activities at all. I played tennis and lifted weights without interruption during and after RT.

Did you have any contractures that the RT improved.?

I already had a cord and contracture in my left hand and when my right hand developed a nodule and began to itch, I knew what was coming. I had RT in my right and about five years ago and nodule is now gone. There is essentially no evidence of DC in that hand today.

I went from work to have my RT appointment and then back to work (I'm an accountant) I have two nodules and no real contraction, my hand is just stiff in the am and feels tight. I've had two rounds of RT, the second in January of this year. No change yet but that's a good thing.
