Just diagnosed
Just diagnosed with Dupytrens both hands and ledderhose . Also have severe arthritis, doc thinks fibroblastic arthritis. Anyone got any experience? I had biopsies of some different lumps in hand webbing on Saturday, awaiting results but anyone had similar.

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis. RA and DD are quite different conditions, with different treatments, and perhaps the biopsy is to confirm the nature of the arthritis rather than DD, or to rule out of possibilities for lumps or nodules?

Keep active and manage pain seems the best advice from sufferers for both, as well as consider the specific treatments available for the different conditions.

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes they want to know if I have a rare form of arthritis called fibroblastic rheumatoid disease. Can u tell my if Dupytrens is common in the finger webbing. They said I do have Dupytrens flus ledderhose plus some form of RA. Sat here after having biopsy on Saturday and now wondering if the webbing lumps are common in DD as they are not in RA?
