new guy DC operation in 2001 right hand, now the left. PAIN RELIEF NOW

Hello everyone.I am glad to find you all.I was diagnosed in 2001,with DC in right hand.Great surgeon and successful removal, long recovery.
I now have " undiagnosed" DC in left hand, nearly positive it is same.
I went to my regular doctor, routine physical to get other meds renewed, and told him my arm hurt.It had been painful for probably a year, but now is enough of an anoyance to be a real PITA.I asked for Orrudis, (I had taken previously a long time ago, which was over the counter at that time.
He told me that the pain in my arm wasNOT related to DC,and that I needed an orthopedist for my arm pain. After a while I convinced him that whatever the cause, the pain was real, and that I had good results with Orrudis previously.
He looked it up,and Orrudis is not available, but that it was Ketoprofen, and he would give me a script for it.They are 75mg caps, and it says 3 times a day.
I only take one - when it hurts, and have never needed more than one or two a day.
I am not a person that takes over the counter anything,virtually ever.No headaches,no asprins,nothing.
If you are having the pain in your hand - arm -elbow -and shoulder,I seriously recommend you try these.
I am going for a consult tomorrow for my new DC.
I will let you know how it comes out.
Ketoprofen gives me relief within 20 minutes. I hope that it works as well for you.
I found this site while doing my pre appointment questionaire for tomorrow.Bless you ALL.
