Note that these results are lab experiments. They do not mean that adipose cells have any effect on real Dupuytren contracture and the conclusion is that fat injection combined with needle fasciotomy might have an additional positive effect. So far proof is missing that the technique of lipografting combined with needle fasciotomy has any better or longer term results than needle fasciotomy alone. Considering that this technique was presented already 5 years ago at the Miami conference on Dupuytren disease https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmWiC5V76YI, this is a little disappointing.
