Physio after Fasciotomy
Hi,
My hubby had a fasciotomy done about 8 weeks ago. He is now going to a physiotherapist who was recommended by friends and she is using, in his words 'some kind of ultrasound, heat' thing on his hand before massage.
Has anyone any experience of this, or of how effective it is ?
Thanks.

Re: Physio after Fasciotomy
I've not had this specific experience, but I have had various forms of physiotherapy that included massage, in all cases something was used to warm the area being treated.

Re: Physio after Fasciotomy
After my NA procedure, I went to a hand physiotherapist 2-3 x/week for as long as the insurance would permit - about 2-3 months. Their treatment did include "heat-type things". All in all, I thought it well worth it.
