Re: Protocol for radiation on DD

I had a gap of about 8 weeks. The radiologist said that he cannot see a theoretical reason for the gap.

In the major publication on RT, there was no significant difference between groups receiving 30Gys (2 sets of 3Gy/day for 5 days separated by 10-12 weeks and 21Gy delivered in 7 treatments over a 2 week period.

Hello Stephen,

Can you reference the "major publication on RT" that you are referring to? This protocol aspect is becoming very frustrating to me as I try and decide where to go for RT. Getting all kinds of varying responses from oncologists as to what they do and what they feel is best.

Thanks,

Nan
