RT in Seattle?
I have already had one NA, but have rapidly growing cords and nodules in both hands. I am starting to look into all options to slow this progression. Does anybody know of anybody doing RT in the Seattle Wa area? My Dr. does not.

Re: RT in Seattle?
Portland is available, but that is quite a drive for five days. There should be something in Seattle at the cancer centers.

Re: RT in Seattle?
Who and where in Portland? I could arrange to be there for 5 days. I would prefer somebody with experience vs somebody doing RT for Dup for the first time.

Re: RT in Seattle?
I live north of Seattle in Anacortes. I had Dr. Nicholas Muff in Sedro Woolley, WA perform Radiation on both hands and feet 3 years ago. It has been a 100% success. Google his number and give him a call. Terry Sentinella

Re: RT in Seattle?
Portland, Dr. Cha at the Oregon Clinic:Radiation Oncology Department (ph. 1-503-215-6029). This location is at the Providence Hospital at 4805 N.E. Glisan St., Portland, OR 97213, just off I-84 (easy access back to Seattle). www.providence.org/radiation
The staff is excellent. I was in and out usually within 15 minutes. I finished my RT about 10 months ago.
Also, they ran this through my insurance with no problems.

Re: RT in Seattle?
I've been seeing James Pelton with Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, WA for my radiation therapy. He's only seen a handful of Dupuytren's patients - but has done some research on how to treat with RT. I just finished my second round of RT (once on each hand) and have been very happy with the results so far.

Have you thought about Xiaflex injection? Worked very well for me after NA and surgery failed. My finger was at 180'. After injection the enzyme Xiaflex desolved the collagen responsible for the nodes on the cords. Fingers are now straighter at a slight curvature. It was worth it have my finger function again. See video on you tube to view the process. It's not for everyone as this disease is so fickle. See search box at top od page for more info on the Dupuytrens society index. Kind Regards, Cherise
