    does anyone have tattoos on the palm of hand before you were diagnosed with Dupuytren's or did you get a tattoo on palm after diagnosed? And if so did you have problems or reactivation from tattoo?

    Hey Cindy

    Did you ever go ahead with a tattoo? I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I often draw two characters on my nodules (!) - my nephew calls them Larry and Barry like out of Mad Max (!) - but i'm worried that I'd be accelerating it if I went ahead and did so.

    I don't have one on my palm but do have one on wrist and it was there years before i was diagnosed with DD. Always wanted one on palm but was nervous about doing it because of reactivation. With being 5 years plus with no problems after having radiation i don't think i want to chance it.

    Can I ask you about your backstory? I.e. when you found out you had dupuytren's, at what age and what you've had done (re radiation?)

    I'm 33 and got DD quite bad on the left hand (see my other post). I'm just trying to inform myself as much as possible about what to do and where to go...
