Time Interval Between R/T Treatments - what's best or optimum
Sorry that this is a duplicate inquiry, but I am still not sure what documentation is available or expert opinions are out there that indicate what time interval between R/T treatments may be optimum when doing two treatments of 3gy for 5 days.
I have seen from 8 to 16 weeks.....anybody have any docs or personal experiece relating to this?
thanks

Re: Time Interval Between R/T Treatments - what's best or optimum
Hi ,I had RT in 2007 administered by Prof Seegenschmiedt then practising in Essen Germany. As I lived in Australia it was not practicable to return in a 6 week period which was then the norm. It was 3 months later that I returned to Germany for the 2nd dose of RT. The Prof . indicated that maybe the 3month period was not such a bad idea as it would allow a time span especially it the disease appeared in another area. This was the case with my Ledderhose where a new area appeared. I infact returned some time later for the extra dose to the Ledderhose. In my humble opinion there is no rush to reduce the time span. Regards

Re: Time Interval Between R/T Treatments - what's best or optimum
I, too, would love to see some more responses to "what's best or optimum" regarding time interval between treatments? Or any published research on the subject. I have three areas of concern that I would like to feel more informed and comfortable about before I make a final decision as to where I will be having RT. This is one of them. So far I have received two differing opinions on this from those that perform RT.
Any more comments or thoughts would be appreciated!
