Topical Hand Cream?
Just curious if anyone has heard of any success stories for pain relief through the use of herbal remedies (oil) to reduce pain or inflammation in their hands or feet? More specifically, Cannabis oil? Before anyone gets prudish or upset, I'm speaking strictly from a therapeutic standpoint.
As I am in the States and it's becoming more prevalent and accepted for its medicinal purposes (not by insurance companies unfortunately) I was just curious to see if it's catching on yet in this capacity. It's 2016 and we still are so put off by this plant. It's silly.
Anyways I'm just looking ahead for tx/pain relief options . I have an appt with podiatrist tomorrow to see if they suspect Ledderhose as my feet have been sore. I have no solid dx on DD yet (have seen two specialists so far) and am hoping for a little more insight (good or bad) as to what's going on --- though I already have my suspicions.

Re: Topical Hand Cream?
There's quite a few past user experiences posted on the forum for various types of topical treatments, oils based on magnesium, Vitamin E, potassium, some welll known brands aimed at stretch marks, and silica scar sheets. I don't recall one using cannabis though, but I have used a hemp based hand cream for dry skin. None of these attempts appear to have a outstanding or repeatable success at reducing DD nodules or cords although there is often improvement and softening in the skin. It's hard to see how topical ointments would penetrate sufficiently to reach where the disease is, and that leads onto the discussion about DMSO which also seems to lead nowhere.
