Where can nodes form?

In my case, I have 5 nodes in my left palm (only one of which is distinct), and two in my right palm. I have nothing whatsoever in my fingers. I'm curious if nodes ever form in the fingers. I know finger involvement can happen, but wonder if that's from cords running into the fingers from nodes in the palm.

I have nodules in the pinky (and palm) of my right hand which had successful NA as well as a still small but growing nodule and a cord forming in the pinky of my right hand. Apparently where there is a cord nodules can form.

Re: Where can nodes form?

I have a nodule right now in a second finger. I had a nodule in a ring finger at one stage bit it dissipated.

Re: Where can nodes form?

I have never noticed nodes in my fingers. In my case the nodes on my palms causes the fingers to contract. Each tendon has nodes in the palm which connects to the fingers.

I thought nodes always come before cords ??

What do you mean by dissipated? Just disappeared? I've heard in late term dupuytren's after cords form the nodes disappear leaving cords.

Although I haven't investigated enough that is probably correct, nodules seem indeed to grow before cords and I expressed myself clumsily.

I had a nodule form on a ring finger, but didn't notice until I resumed playing tennis after a 3 month break for injury. Holding a racquet it was obvious and uncomfortable, and I paid attention. I continued with the tennis but applied strapping over the nodule whenever playing, and a few months later it was gone as silently as it appeared. Was it really a DD nodule? I think so, but who can really say.
