Answer
A new source of Dups info.

I've just returned from having successful needle aponevrotomy treatment with Dr. Badois in Paris. I plan to post a detailed web page sharing all the info I can including FAQ and airline experience (the worst part). I read all these postings with great interest and I'm amazed at the number of people who elect to have the "standard" surgical procedure. Today, there are no cures, only treatments. The utter simplicity of needle aponevrotomy belies its effectiveness, low cost, and low impact on quality of life. I'm looking forward to posting my new Dups web page address HERE as soon as I can gather all of my info together coherently.

Very much looking forward to whatever info you have. I've had the palm surgery, and I've been to Paris (just as a tourist, not to see Dr. Badois). Air travel is terrible, but can't compare to the surgery!

Web Page

Website idea sounds great. It would be good to get the Paris doctor info out there, since the delay of collagenase might be 1.5 to 2.0 years.

Surgeon

Since Dr. Badois in France has informed me that my left hand's #4 & #5 fingers are too far gone for his Aponevrotomy method, I have been searching for an experienced physician if I should elect to go the full surgical route.

I have located just such a Doctor in Boston, who was highly recommended.

I returned to Florida yesterday from an enlightening consultation with this physician who proved to be considerate and exhibited considerable compassion. He is a young man, however he has years of expertise performing Dupuytren surgery.

I appreciated his candid explanation of both the surgical and post operative procedures.

I will be in Massachusetts again in July and will have made my decision as to surgery by then.
