Thanks for the glowing report, Cal. I am glad everything went so well for you. I am exited about the prospect of another hand doctor who will do NA. Great news!

Yes, this is wonderful news of a doctor that wants to learn. I hope more will follow. In the next 5 years, I hope Many Hand surgeons will follow along.

For your information.

NA is not taught in the US so the only way a doctor could learn how to perform NA is to travel to Europe; Dr. Eaton is the only US doctor who has done so.

Answer
NA

Hi and welcome,

There is a pile of info on Dr Eaton's website -www.handcenter.org. He is the ONLY trained NA practitioner in the US.

There is also alot of info on this Biospecific Forum ...just keep reading both websites until your eyes fall out of your head. :-) Feel free to post any questions you might have, someone will answer. I do warn you however to beware of anyone who wants you to deal exclusively with them....there are no single experts in NA here just people who have had personal experiences with it.

Good Luck.

Frances

Do they use Injectable Collagenase with N/A?

How about this....if anyone has any questions about Dr. Eaton's training in Paris (1 week WITH patients) then contact Dr Eatons office directly for confirmation. In fact there is a picture of Dr. Eaton and Dr. L on his website.

There is no other doctor in the US who can say he was trained in France where NA originated, and since NA is not taught in the US....well...how could one know how to do NA?

So....if there was a doctor on US soil other then Dr. Eaton to make the claim that they have been trained in NA, then I would be contacting the 'teacher' to confirm this.

As we all know, there is an amature video on CD out there of the NA procedure being performed and I would hate to see a patient be misled into thinking this is a substitute for training.

I myself will only see Dr. Eaton because I know where his NA training comes from.

I am a 39 year old male who contracted Dupuytren's Disease
in my pinky and made the mistake of having surgery. They removed a nodule in the upper part of the pinky and another one appeared in the lower part of my pinky almost 2 months right after surgery. The opperated on my like it was a benign tumer the fist time, not like they should have. I also have nerve damage now as a result. My doctor was a quack, boy did I learn the hardway. If I knew then what I know now, I never would have done surgery! The nodule I have now is bending my finger to almost a perfect L shape. Do you think this procedure could help a guy like me?

Answer
NA after surgery

My pimky had also been surgically corrected. It too started bending again but the nodule pulling it down was in the palm. Dr. Eaton made it perfect. Go for it. He can do miraculous things in just a short amount of time. Two weeks and my hand is doing great! Good luck. Bill

Answer
NA in California

I am absolutely delighted to see that NA is moving towards the west coast. A new NA hand doctor in Idaho is much closer to my home in California. Some day soon we may see an NA hand doctor in LA or Sacramento. To be able to drive to an NA appointment is beyond my wildest hopes.
