Two Thumbs up for this study group!
I decided to go on 2mg ALC per day starting next week and will post my results at the end of this year.
I think regarding the pathogenesis of Dupuytren's, one report per year is sufficient to evaluate the effectiveness.

wrong dosage
of course I am going to take 2g of ALC, not 2mg.
I'm not quite sure about Potaba, but it might have the same working-mechanism as ALC, as far as I know both drugs are know to be strong anti-fibrotics and anti-oxidants.
I would prefer ALC because its OTC and Potaba is a prescription drug.

Add Vitamin K-1
Try adding 2000 mcg Vitamin K-1. I started, three days ago, and it's amazing. Found out about it from The Rosedale Diet, he recommends it for osteoporosis. Check online references for it relative to connective tissue disorders. Good luck!

David, where did you get the 2000 mcg dosage from? Tablets seem to come in 100 mcg. If you have any links please post.

Vitamin K1 daily allowance
The recommended daily allowance of vitamin K1 is 70 - 100 mcg (1 microgram per kg (=2.2 pounds) body weight). As K1 improves/increases blood clotting, I would be reluctant to take 2,000 mcg daily. At least I would think you should consult with your doctor before doing it.

Updates?
2 years with colchicine and ALC and counting... no change in contracture, pain under control. I had to discontinue my .6mg colchicine/day for about 2 weeks and the ache/pain in my hands was as bad as it had been since before I started on the drug - I don't view that as coincidence. I'm still happy taking these as I have agressive disease in both hands and feet and had two NA procedures in the same summer at age 32.
