Dr. Jonathan Wright of the Tahoma Clinic in Reston, WA says that a mixture of SSKI/DMSO rubbed into the hardened Dupuytrens tissues twice a day may well restore these areas to normal over time. He specifically includes Peyronie's disease and Dupuytrens contracture, mentioning the thickening of the tissues in the palm and fingers. Has anyone tried this mixture which can be purchases over the counter?

SSKI is an old treatment for Dupuyten's from the early 20th century. I don't know if it was a success. Probably not.

Adding DMSO will cause it to cross skin barriers and is a new twist on an old treatment..
It could lead to high levels of iodine and could be toxic. I am not recommending it, but if someone has success, please let me know.
