Radiation treatment at the OU Health & Science in OKC

Hi everyone! I have dupuytrens in both hands and ledderhose in both feet and I have been to many doctors and all they can tell me is to come back when I can no longer lay my hand flat! Now, why in the hell would I wait til that happens, I mean really! The other doctor wanted to schedule me for surgery on my foot................NOT!!! Not one of them ever mentioned having radiation treatment and I found that to be rather odd don't you? So I decided to go with the radiation treatments and for the first time I feel there is light at the end of this tunnel! Dr. Herman is awesome along with his staff, I can't say enough about them. I live in Dallas and it's not offered there and all week I have been asked why OKC and not Dallas? Even Dr. Herman said he didn't understand why there were not more doctors doing this. It's painless and only takes about 25-30 min max and then I'm good to go and do whatever I want. I have asked a load of questions such as do you see a lot of this and they say yes, but it's after the person has already been cut on and the disease has come back. That was why I decided to go this route first! And as I said before I have a great positive outlook on this and it's days are numbered!!

I too had treatment at OU. So far, no results after 2.5 months...I keep hoping to see some change, but nothing yet. Any comments?
thanks,

thanks for asking!
Their protocol is:
Monday--1 treatment
Tuesday--2 treatments, morning and afternoon
Wednesday--1 treatments
Thursday--2 treatments, morning and afternoon
Friday--1 treatment

I think they use around 25 greys for dosage...not sure exactly.
