RT Costs in the USA
Hello All: I am new to the forum and seeking information on average RT costs for Dupuytren's and Ledderhose diseases in the United States.
I am currently in the N/1 stage for my left hand and N stage for my left foot. I have contacted Dr. S in Germany, e-mailed back and forth information and been asked to schedule a visit to diagnose and receive RT treatment if indicated. He has quoted 500 Euro for each extremity. Of course, I would rather save the costs of travel and lodging, and do it here in the USA if possible.
Unfortunately, I have a very high $7500 deductible, and 75% coverage after, so much of the cost will be paid out of pocket.
What can I expect to pay (on average) in the US for a 5 day RT session, then another 5 day RT session in about 8 weeks for a total of 30 grey?
Thanks --Scott

Re: RT Costs in the USA
I had RT at VCU last year. My insurance covered it and it was about $8000 for each round, a round being 5 days. I was in Hamburg last month and it was about $1200 for the treatment. With a $7500 deductible it would probably be a wash having it here or going to Germany (by the time you pay for flights and hotels). I went to Germany because I wanted to be examined by a doctor with lots of experience. I think you can find that here, though, depending on where you live.
