Transdermal Verapamil 15 % Gel ?? Doctor just wrote a prescription for this !!! It is not FDA approved that I can find. I was told I have to pay for it up front. I know if its not FDA approved my Insurance wont pay for it. So has anyone bought this and HOW MUCH is the gel.??? Has anyone had good experiences with this or heard anyone that has???? I think doctor is just trying anything and everything ???

Thanks but I have read it, It sounds like a waste of money but the new Doctor wants me to give it a try. Im on short term disability and Im not a millionaire (lol) so I just was curious how much for a tube of verapamil. And if it had worked for anyone on here. But Im not reading any positive feed back nor cost on the drug. I have been going through all the old posts still but coming up with nothing supporting this drug working yet and wondering why this doctor is pushing for it other than last try with non invasive procedures.... Thanks though for the info .. It doesnt look very encouraging nor does it sound like something for me to even think about wasting my money on (the GEL) !!! I wish there was a cure all !!!!

I made some phone calls and heres the info if anyone wants it..... It is not even FDA approved for plantar fibromas but I was told from the company they have been curing people with plantar fibromas and dupuytrens as well for 12 years and that the only reoccurence were those with hereditary cause of this disease. The cost of this Gel with the internet voucher and the 10 % off they give you for a 3 month supply is $615.00. I dont know how i can afford this and it sounds like it isnt even worth my time. But the doctor wants me to try this. So theres the info on the cost.
