of course its not a magic bullet - im not that naive - but if it avoids surgery its worth a try.
and its a study because its not TGA approved in Australia yet so its not available

NA and RT also avoid surgery. Obviously up to everyone to make there own decision but from what I have read here xiaflex doesn't seem like a lot of fun.

For my part I'll stick to NA and experienced practitioners. Gives me an excuse to holiday in Europe every couple of years.

NA is also locally available in Australia. Not very many clinics but at least some:

PS: This is not to take away you excuse for visiting Europe!

Re: G'day! I'm new here

Thanks Wolfgang; Yes I knew there are doctors now doing NA in Australia and I have engaged with a couple of them but I didn't feel confident in their response. I think they need a lot more experience and I would prefer they practice on someone else.

I saw Dr Manet in Paris last Friday and within half an hour she had my forefinger and index finger straightened. New treatment for me was the combination of NA and cortisone that she used on nodules in my thumb and the web between thumb and forefinger. Nodules still there but softer and Dr Manet thinks they may now shrink a bit. Fingers crossed.
