I live in Portugal.
No RT clinics in Portugal for this illnesses.
Maybe in Spain, but I am not sure of their experience.
But what could be the problem of being from abroad ?
Tkat problem did not come up with the hamburg clinic...

Language may be a problem, not at the Hamburg clinic but elsewhere. Staff or doctor might not be fluent in English and therefore reluctant to treat foreign patients. Some clinics would prefer to include aftercare. Billing might be another.

Prof Seegenschmiedt getting back to work
Good news! Heinrich Seegenschmiedt has recovered enough to slowly start practicing again. For the time being he will do this on Saturdays and only in Essen, at Radiologie am Stern http://www.radiologie-am-stern.de/ . I do not know whether he will ever return to Hamburg, maybe not. But at least a start and we are wishing him a quick further recovery!

Oh WOW this is great news for him and for us! I had feared it was some permanent or progressing illness and don't wish suffering like that on anyone, but hearing that he has recovered is wonderful. I will need to reconsider my plans now as I would love to see him if he has the stamina and schedule for it without risking his health.
Do you happen to know how he is providing treatment if he is only seeing patients on Saturdays? Is he doing assessments then but someone else is doing the therapy?

I don't know but I believe that's how it wuill work, at least initially. BTW, the Essen clinic is much smaller than the one on Hamburg and they are using x-rays, not e-beam, but for DD both work well and x-rays are cheaper and better researched.

When he worked in Hamburg, he would do the consultation on a Monday, make out the treatment plan for the technicians, meet you later the same day in the treatment room, and then leave you for the rest of the week in the hands of the technicians, so would not see him again until the Friday to collect the money and treatment report. On one of my second round visits I did not meet him at all, it was all left up to the technicians; this was not normal and I agreed to it in advance.

Have you any idea if he still uses the same mail ?
Or may be it is too soon for him to answer mails.
