Anti TNF Treatment
Has anyone heard or know of a hand surgeon who has/or will administer the anti TNF treatment off label for early dupytrens?

Hi, no answer but just in case you missed it we discussed it a bit here with further references that might be useful to you https://www.dupuytren-online.info/Forum_...1651801364.html.
My opinion is no Dr who wishes to keep their licence would administer it privately off label based on the evidence so far, and the side effects of this drug. I assume you are referring to Adalimumab. But then ianad. If you find one come back and let us know, and how or if it helps you. There are other more proven or successful treatments for early DD. Have you explored them? SB

Re: Anti TNF Treatment
Update. Someone on one of the FB groups, apparently in Ohio, claims to be receiving Adalimumab injections privately. No further details.

Re: Anti TNF Treatment
Adalimumab (Humira) is ungodly expensive. If I'm reading this right, it says
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanrh...0093-5/fulltext
participants receive four injections of adalimumab or saline every 3 months in a dose of 40 mg adalimumab in 0·4 mL.
I'm seeing prices for 4 pens of 40mg/0.4ml costing about $13,000 in the US on goodrx.com. Over 12 months, the treatments would cost $52,000. And, that's just for the drugs themselves through a discount program. Any provider doing this procedure will likely mark that up and add charges for the surgeon to do the injections.
Since this is off-label, so insurance would not cover it.

Re: Anti TNF Treatment
Humira is indeed extremely expensive in the USA. I don't know why that so. They have always charged the most in the USA https://www.statista.com/statistics/3120...ira-by-country/ . Currently, due to competition by biosimilars, in Europe 1 pen mith 40 mg Humira would cost, roughly, 550 $, 4 pens would be 2,200 $. Still a lot, but much less than the 13,500 $.
My understanding is that in the recent trial 2b, patients received 40 mg every 3 months, i.e. 4 pens would be sufficient for 1 year. The authors of the 2b trial report state that participating patients "receive either 40 mg adalimumab in 0·4 mL or an equal volume of saline at baseline, 3, 6, and 9 months after randomisation, and followed up at 12 and 18 month timepoints."
