    I have advanced Dypuytren on my right hand. A pinky is affected. I was scheduled for a surgery last year but later decided to postpone it. Is anybody has the same issue with a deep crack on the palm? It hurts a lot when it opens up. Then it heals by itself and after a while it opens again?

    I have a small hole in the base of my ring finger, it goes quite deep although no internal tissue is exposed, had it for probably 6 or more years. Still have it even though I had a Xiaflex procedure a year ago, it used to hurt when I tried to open my hand but is OK now. BTW, have you considered Xiaflex as opposed to surgery?

    Have you tried moisturisers such as Gormel or Bio-Oil to see if they help?
