Dup. and Hand Relief

Some Relief...
I have been doing much research because I have the Dup. The reason Verapamil works, is that it is a calcium blocker that interrupts the opportunity for the fibers to grow.

Verapamil is comprised of Trifluoperazine and Magnesium Sulfate. Magnesium Sulfate is also a calcium blocker although weaker than the other ingredient. Magnesium Sulfate is Epsom Salts! The medical community doesn't share this… but It is even claimed that a hot bath with Epsom salts, seems to provide relief for an overworked day, but there is no studies that show proof that the salts help and that it may just be the warm water. Why, because there is no money in it! Thank you over controlling medical community!

So I mixed a saturated solution (a saturated solution is when no more salt will dissolve in a given amount of water) and 'washed' my hands with it for 5 minutes 3 times a day.

The next day, I could not believe how much better my hands felt. It was night and day.

Here is my method. Set the water faucet to a reasonable drip that will let you have small amounts of water. Place 1/3 teaspoon of salt in one hand. Then put about 3/4 teaspoon of water in the salt and stir it with a finger, not letting any drip out of your hand. Then quickly join you hands and rub them so not much drips. It takes a bit for the salt to fully dissolve. As most of the salt dissolves, the viscosity becomes a wee thicker. Add a couple drops of water to smooth out the mixture. After 5-6 minutes the mixture can start to get a bit gritty as the water evaporates, and the salts start to re-crystallize, if you wish to continue you can simply add 2 or 3 drops of water to smooth it out. (always use the least amount of water to have the highest concentration of salts) When you are finished – rinse only quickly, and dry.

In the beginning I was doing about 5-6 minutes. Now do it 10 minutes 2 times a day. That is as long as I can bear to stand there and do it. You may do as long as you like.

Admittedly, I only have nodules in my palms, but they are substantial and I have resolved to not letting it go further. I am also doing a couple other things, of course because this all happens so slowly there is no telling if any of this has long term effect.

I hope your hands feel better. As noted, this is a calcium blocker and can inhibit the growth and progression – maybe not a lot, but any is better than none! It might be a nice gesture to post for others if this works for you.
Cheers! Wheels.
