I have a question about the nodules HELP !!!

I have both Dupuytren's and Ledderhose. I've had surgery on my left hand but it has come back really fast and worse. I have a question about the nodules. I am noticing one in my index finger at the first joint. I am thinking this is unusual, but I thought I would ask. The nodule is becoming quite painful.I also have one in my pinky finger (same hand), but it also has a cord leading up to that nodule.
Anything that is normal with this, is NOT normal for me. It seems like I am getting all the weird stuff.

I am curious to know more about what seems to be taking over my body.

Nodules on the fingers are not unusual. Are they on the back of your fingers at the joint or on the palm side. I have nodules on both sides of my fingers. Mine are usually very painful when they first appear but the pain seems to settle down after a couple of months.

I agree with Dawn. Nodules at joints of fingers are not unusual. I have nodules at the first joint of several fingers also at the base and first joint of one thumb.

A bit of pain when pressed against things when new but eventually seem to settle down. The lump at the first joint of my thumb caused issues when using gym equipment a few months back but now it is weathered and doesn't trouble me at all.
