Are you saying white vinegar or bleach? I am seeing two different kinds of answer from you...I am willing to try almost anything to see a reversal of my condition. I was a nail biter for many years. So could you please describe your therapy method in simple terms? Can you provide before and after pictures? thanks, cureall
The bleach was only for people to have a safe water supply to clean your hands & feet..white vinegar will help,but i would do short soaks of only like 3 mins. or so every 6 hours ....You can not kill this stuff all at 1 time & if you soak for to long it can start to hurt .....You will not help it by rubbing it ,the nails are more important to treat than the dimple ares..
I also think most people with Dup & ledderhose have periodontal (gum) disease--I do at 43.........Thats why i stated eat lots of blueberry yogurt to help kill bacteria----and never put your fingers in your mouth again....
I was a life long nail biter .... I stopped biting my nails only 2 months ago..I also have been using Miconazole cream on the large ledderhose lumps....Deep rubs for about 10 mins. you will get a sand like grit that comes to the surface of the skin---..There will be a cure found ,not from a hand or foot doctor--------------but from a small team of dermatologist & fungal experts:)
I don't have periodontal disease and don't bite my nails. Didn't get DD until almost 70. Only in the palm at first. Still mostly in the palm and barely going into the MCP joint from the palm.
Have no idea why mine started and has basically remained in my palm. I'm just fortunate, I think, that this weird disease has stayed out of my fingers and not contracture affecting my finger joints.
Thats good news for you Flojo ,but for some it gets very bad....The way i see it is these dermatophytes are all over us,looking for a way to get in the skin-some may enter the scalp on some people,some enter the fingers & toes on others-it may take a cut or injury to enter on some people.....Mine is the fingers & toes
