Ocasional pain persisting years after radiation therapy
I got radiation therapy about 3 years ago. It was the best description I've ever made. Some of the nodules went away and the progression definitely stopped (it was moving very rapidly before) But occasionally I still get bouts of throbbing pain along the cords. At the beginning I thought it would stop over time but it hasn't. I read somewhere that sometimes nerves get entrapped by the collagen cords. Has anyone had this experience, is there anything that can be done or is it a sign of it progressing?

Re: Ocasional pain persisting years after radiation therapy
I had RT about 7 years ago. The progression of active disease stopped within a few weeks of RT. Since then there has been only one short minor episode of active disease as evidenced by an increased itchiness and tingling in my palms. I still get some low level pain, perhaps more an ache from time to time, some tingling in one finger. I still have cords and nodules on both hands.
RT has been very successful for me, I have no contractions, I can easily fully close both hands to make fists with no pain or discomfort.
Cheers
Stephen
