    Has anyone come across a way to get RT as a treatment for Dupeytrens on the NHS?

    Chords in my hand are starting to develop and am looking to get RT asap but the only doctors that i have come across are Dr goode and Dr chaeffer and they are private.

    My understanding is that RT is doesn't work on chords. I suggest you look at NA. Since NA costs less than a meal at a good restaurant the NHS issue becomes less relevant.

    Hi as what I am aware that RT is not available on NHS.. I am having to raise the money to have my RT done this month. £1,750 plus more for the accommodation and fuel to travel. Certainly not cheap. But will be worth every penny IF i WORKS !!

    I remain open minded and hope for the best.

    I have just completed my second round of RT on NHS done at Exeter. GP referred me (at my insistance)

    I was offered accommodation at the hospital, I didn't take it up but the offer was there if I wanted it.

    Hi everyone, and I've been lurking on this board for a while and have found it a great support so thanks folks.

    To introduce myself I'm a 38 year old female from the UK, first noticed lumps and bumps on my hands about 3 years ago and since then have had two surgeries, one to correct a pip contraction in my left hand and a few weeks ago one to correct a 60 degree contraction on my right.

    Keen to go down the radiotherapy route to try and calm down the numerous other nodules on both hands.

    Wondering how effective or if it is an option after surgery and also Mary learning more about of getting it done on the nhs.
