Gazza, I really hope you do. Take before pictures because you will want them. The herbs look and taste like dirt. They told me bulk is more potent than granule. Not sure if you are a big drinker but if you can not drink for a couple of months I think it really helped boost my progress. But obviously a personal choice. Good Luck!!!

I have been going to OCOM Oregon College Of Oriental Medicine. http://ocom.edu/
The Acupuncturist that I saw were students. Cost is $25 per visit. The students are supervised by Licensed Acupuncturist. I have gone to the one that is in China Town and saw Julia, Rachel and Brandy. Good Luck!

New report: Yesterday I went spinning for the first time in a few months. I put on my bike shoes and clipped in, my shoes were really loose. I knew I was wearing the socks I always wear with my bike shoes. Then I thought."Oh yeah the TCM is working on the L.D. on my feet." Sure enough it is, the nodules are smaller on both feet! Shoes are fitting better without the pressure from the L.D.!!

Just thought I would check in. All is well with the TCM. My hand continues to stay released. I stopped wearing gloves to play tennis to see if it made a difference. No changes. The active part of the disease seems to have gone to sleep. I do not have any itching anywhere. I continue to go once a week for acupuncture and three bags of herbs that I cook up every other day for morning and evening doses. The stuff does and will taste bad but it is a small price to pay for the results. The acupuncturist said that because this is an ongoing situation that I will always need both the needles and the herb at some continuous level. But I was looking at surgery, N.A. and radiation. The time and effort is worth every bit of it.

Thank you for posting this interesting development. I finished my second round of RT in September and last week discovered two new nodules growing very rapidly, one on each palm. I'm very discouraged but have no contracture yet. My only problem with trying TCM is I live in El Paso, Texas! I'm looking for an accupuncturist and will be willing to try the tea.

Did you do a follow-up visit with your Dr.? What has happened with the nodules that were existing at the time of RT in September?
Were these new nodules located inside the irradiated area in September?
