Gary ,
Thanks for the response as for me I decided to try adipose tissue stem cell injections and unfortunately they have triggered an angry response from my feet. I have been looking at stem cell and long story how it came about but decided to try it. I had also read as much of this article as I could:
http://www.researchgate.net/publication/...ren%27s_disease

Not having an affiliation with a medical hospital I couldn't read the whole article.

I had it intravenously and also injected directly into the nodules--that I think was the mistake.. it fired them up and now I am really struggling again. I still think this is a very good possibility but the method was definitely wrong. So I am headed back to San Antonio, Dr. Davis to see what he thinks. The nodules on the balls of my feet are much more visible and defined and my feet ache and feel like they are being pulled under.

Next step???

aaaarrrrrhhhhh!!

Thats not good Penny!!!!......the more I get to know about this disease......the more i feel you have to leave alone.....unless you MUST get treatment because of the pain.

i hope that Dr. Davis has a solution for you......it sounds like its gone mega active.....i can t remember if you ve had Rt.....it might be an option!!!

i hope things turn arround for you....please keep us posted...

wishing you the best

Gazza

Thanks again Gary,
I have had radiation and actually my pain level increased greatly during the last 3 days of the 2nd round. I was also just reading about the red lazer light therapy. You keep up on all the different things much better than I, what do you think should be my next step? My feet were not as bad before the stem cell but still bad enough to greatly change the way I live. I don't want to keep mixing up so many things but need to try to get this last reaction stopped...
Thanks!
Penny

I m not a Dr. Penny.....but i believe that the no treatment if you can.....seems to be a good option with this condition.....

have you considerd pain killers for a short term????....It may settle down again..

You had initial success with Hyalurinodase...but I guess the disease developed again....which promted the stem cell treatment...

RT is the only option that has credible evidence of slowing progression of active disease.

i would nt dive in to another therapy such as laser treatment unless I was utterly desperate...

A trip to San Antonio has no downside as long as you have an open mind about having MORE injections....and possibly aggravating things further...

i wish you the best and hope things improve for you soooon!!!!

        Hi penny

....so how are you?......what did Dr. Davis come up with?

        gazza
I had 8 injections a couple of weeks ago of the hyaluronidase and my feet are somewhat better. Dr Davis injected 6 spots through the top into the ball of my feet and 2 more, one on each arch nodule. The actual feeling and appearance of thickness is reduced but the pain is about what it was before the stem cell.
We discussed stem cell and what he said made sense. The stem cells builds tissue but probably won't remove excess scar/fibroid tissue. So before the stem cell inject hyaluronidase or do a Tenex lazer and then inject the stem cell after you remove the excess fibroid in order to build back healthy tissue. But I am not going to pursue that now.
I am wearing orthotics to try to change the pressure points on my feet. I still am not able to walk for more than a couple of hours before I am just completely unable to stand the pain.
I am going back on the 31st to see what he thinks from here. The thickness is really lessened but again my stamina to stand or walk is not much improved.

          Thanks for that Penny....

LD has reduced my ability to do the things that I value..so I can empathize with your situation.....I am hopeful that the reduced thickening will lead to a better quality of life for you..... How many times does Dr. Davis believe you can inject hyaluronidase??
