How long can the "active" stage be going on with LD?
Seems my nodules are growing slowly, had some pretty intense symptoms, but they are gone for now (very intense itching for 3 weeks). Still have burning in arches, also some cords are getting harder, can now actually feel them when foot is relaxed. Could all this stop for awhile and then act up again? Tried to get in touch with Prof. S to get his opinion what to do, but have not had any luck.

This Ledderhose disease freaks me out. I will not hesitate to get RT done, so I like to know when to act. They say, it should be in early form and active to be most effective.
I have not had, until recently any big problems, but things are slowly happening. My feet are not what they used to be. The problem is, we are our own doctors and have to make the right decision. All we realy have is this forum. My podiatrist did not even know what I was talking about, after I educated him, I had to pay the consultation fee. Now that is a joke.

I already had RT done on both hands with Proif. S. I so knew that my hands were active, my left hand in particular. I also know from experience, that when things are happening, they can happen fast, so timing is important.

From what I read, feet get RT done whenever, even at later stages. Hands is a different matter. So it would be important to know what my window of RT is, when does early, active move into stage 1, etc. I like to catch it when it is most effective.
