can anyone answer this ????

I have ledderhose in both feet. One Nodule was very painful so I had it surgically removed and I was one of the unlucky ones and it grew back. It has been 9 months now and I still have problems, But here is a new one Has anyone had tingling like they are going to sleep even while your up walking on them not just when your sitting down ?? I just was curious if this was just yet another oddball thing these nodules do... ??? Thanks for any experiences with this disease you may have.

Peekaboo, I haven't experienced the "going to sleep feeling", just the burning, itching, muscle cramps and general pain. What you have sounds more like nerves are involved. Your nodule may be irritating one of the adjacent nerves, or you may have some entrapment from either the nodule or scar tissue from your surgery. This disease is so understudied that there are many questions with no firm answers. Add to that the variety of how it can affect each personn - no wonder every time we have a new sympton, we try to decide if it's related or unrelated to our LD. My husband is a cancer survivor and has permanent nerve damage (neuropathy) in his feet and hands from chemo. His description of how his feet feel is much like yours. I'm sorry you're having to experience this along with all the other reminders our feet give us that we have LD. My husband tried Lyrica for the problem, with no significant improvement. I suggest you discuss this with your doctor who can best determine whether this is temporary from the nodule, and what the best treatment is for you. In the meantime, I'll be thinking about you and please keep us posted.

Best regards, TG
