Hyaluronase recovery

For those of you who have had hyaluronase injections;

I will be traveling to San Antonio to have the injections with dr Davis. If you had the tibial nerve injection for pain how long before you could walk well enough to leave office? I will be traveling alone and unsure if I will need a hotel or can just return to airport and fly home.

As for pain the days post injection;
Was the recovery after the injection worse with the first injection or similar after all injections?

Thanks regina in El Paso Texas

Re: Hyaluronase recovery

I did the block on my ankle and it was numb for about 4 hours. My foot hurt for about a week to a week and a half after the injections were done.

Once I flew the day of the injections and my foot started hurting worse with flying than with staying at a hotel room for the night where I kept my feet elevated and on ice.

I suggest using an anti-inflammatory and an ice pack after the injections to help with swelling and pain. If the block is done on your driving foot, you will not be able to drive with the block.

I do want to let you know that I have a low tolerance for pain so if you have a high tolerance for pain, you probably won't need the medial block.
