Jimh - Thanks once again for your remarks. I understand the relationship between Ledderhose and Dupuytrens. As for the family tree, I'm the oldest of my generation and my parents and grandparents have been gone for many years. You did get me to thinking and I remember when we lived in the Middle East, my daddy was airlifted back to the States with what could very well have been frozen shoulder. It certainly describes his problem, which was quite incapacitating. At that time (early 1970's) they treated it with pain killers, rest and physical therapy. My mother, her mother and one of my brothers have had carpal tunnel surgically treated (both wrists for all three of them.) I also recall that my daddy had a lot of "foot trouble" and wore orthotics as long as I can recall. I have hypoglycemia, as opposed to hyperglycemia (diabetes.) I may have given the wrong impression when I admitted to my one per day soft drink habit. Other than that, I'm know as the food police! I eat only brown rice, whole grains, little red meat, lots of fish, veggies and fruits. I never pick up the salt shaker at the table and don't care for sweets. I'm deathly allergic to dairy products, which knocks out most sweets anyway. I drink about 6 litres of water per day. My husband is diabetic and our daughter and her husband are vegetarian, so I take their needs as well as my allergies into consideration when cooking. I stay very active physically.

I did have the MRI today and have an appointment with the ortho on Monday, so will let y'all know what he has to say. I will certainly let you know what I hear. Have a lovely weekend!

Regards,
TG
