Radiation Therapy in my area

I had surgery for plantar fasciitis in January of this year. I now have a plantar fibroma that has formed in the arch of my left foot. I can't find anything online saying that this was a side effect of the surgery. But I did read that this nodule can form from a trauma to the plantar fascia. I'm guessing that surgery would be considered a trauma. My podiatrist's answer is wait until it's large enough and have it removed. I have been using a prescription of 15% vermapil for 2 1/2 months. I'm seeing no positive results from all this rubbing. The lump is definitely growing. I was told to do foot stretches twice daily. My foot is now beginning to ache and cramp at night. I'm not sure if that may be aggravating the issue. I also use a cream mixed at a pharmacy - ketamine (c3) 10%/ flurbiprofen 10%/ baclofen2/ cyclobe. It helps the pain, but not as much as it was 2 months ago. I've been reading about radiation therapy. Can anyone recommend a doctor or facility that deals with this issue in my area. I'm in south Louisiana (USA) and would travel hours for a treatment that would possibly be successful. I read somewhere on this site that someone had treatments in Houston TX, but I can't find the post. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, cmlr

maybe it was this thread:

You could also searching for the head of the radiation oncology department at a university hospital near you, and email that person. That's how I found a radiation oncologist to treat my hand.
