    LD typically starts unnoticed by many as a slight thickening of the plantar, developing into nodules that usually but not always develop on the sole. But the nodules can also develop inwards towards the arch, where they may be more painful as they press on nerves. I don’t think we can help with excluding LD as a diagnosis on the basis of your description. I would seek help from an experienced podiatrist of Doctor who has seen and treated LD. I’ve lost track of your threads, are you seeking an intervention or conservative treatment?

    Hey spanishbudda,

    If its treatable, with a pretty sure rate of no recurrance or other complications I would be aggressive tbh.

    Anyway the radiologist said that she thought it wasn't plantar fibromatosis, but obviously I guess you are right and that is not enough.

    We do not have podologists here, it must feel strange bu it is the truth. It is all on the orthopedic.

    I will book soon a visit, but I am unsure if i could make my GP send me to do a MRI first.

    Having a diagnosis would be nice, especialy since I would rather not say goodbye to you guys :)
