Then post your condition possibly with photos from your hands and description of your disease history ...

... and if you are in an EARLY STAGE situation, seriously consider RADIATION THERAPY as a very reasonable and effective treatment to get a STOP to this otherwise dismal condition !

All the best to you, LARRY

cure all, if you browse through the forum you will find quite a few user experiences of people who have had RT for hands and feet, including me. Most people report success in halting progress of the condition.

Hi Alan and Alan :-),

My first post to the forum, after imbibing the excellent info here for a couple of months.

Alan, (cureall), Dr Herazy (Illinois, not Ohio though) recommends DMSO: http://dupuytrens-contracture.com/
I have been using their products now about 6 - 7 weeks and notice a slight improvement, the fieriness in the nodules
has calmed down and the hands feel more normal again.

I embarked on their regimen due to frequent travels and moving home a few times I wasn't able to keep up
my regular treatments in Bangkok when there and my acupuncture treatments in Kathmandu when living there resp.

Also I am using a handheld ultra sound device: http://www.ultralieve.com/ which I ordered it from a local supplier in Australia.
And today a laser I ordered from Belarus arrived http://low-level-laser-therapy-vityas.com/, recommended on this forum.
The Naturopath in Bangkok incorporated ultra sound and laser in his treatment to which the hands responded well.
Now as an experiment I am using the DMSO as a conductive medium for the ultra sound probe after accidentally
finding out that the hands "like" it.

I massage the nodules when ever I can with digging my thumbnails into them or when at home watching the news with this wooden roller:

http://www.dupuytren-online.info/Forum_E...p;id=1311850090

I believe all of the above have slowed the progress considerably. The original nodules from the middle in my left hand have disappeared,
unfortunately new ones formed below the two pinky fingers with quite a prominent cord on the right hand.

The DD runs in my fathers side of the family.
The first nodule appeared early 2006, probably "awakened"
by the large and heavy axe which I used that time splitting fire wood.

I also have a suspicion that long hours on my note book over the years have hastened the progress of the DD.
Now I use as much as possible an external wire less keyboard and mouse pad. If I don't the sensitivity in my
hands increases.

This for now.

Cheers, dirk
ps Wolfgang, I very much appreciate all the work and effort you putting in. Thanking you big time
