Dupuytren's contracture pronunciation
I have read a lot about people trying to figure out how to pronounce Dupuytren's I went to Google Dictionary and it says the pronunciation out loud...I do not know if it is for sure right but, they say it is pronounced "do-pie-trens" the trens part is like trends without the "d"...like I said I don't know if it is right but, I never thought it would be pronounced that way. Don't feel bad if you don't know how to pronounce it...my husband actually has a Dupuytren's contracture and we don't know how to say it either......
My husband's surgery is done now, and his hand is like "NEW"....the more people I was around, especially doctors, they tend to say it doop-i-trenz....so, Yes, SpanishBuddha....I do agree with you!!!

Re: Dupuytren's contracture pronunciation
Well you probably need to use French intonation to pronounce it correctly.
I'm a Brit so speak proper English not American :-) and say doo-p-trnz, and when I visited Germany they pronounced it differently yet again.
