Re: Dupuytren’s RT recommendation in SC
Hi Hallae,
I am not sure what SC stands for but you might check https://www.dupuytren-online.info/radiotherapy_clinics.html or inquire at nearby radiotherapy clinics or hospiptal divisions. Some clinics are treating Dupuytren's without mentioning it on their website.

Re: Dupuytren’s RT recommendation in SC
Thanks for the information Yes the SC was South Carolina; I’m in the Charleston area. I’ve been having an issue getting a referral for RT Any suggestions? Is this something you can just pay yourself? Not sure of how much this type of treatment would run. What type of success rate this has.

Re: Dupuytren’s RT recommendation in SC
I’ve seen people mention costs in the order of $20k for treatment in the US, so people need insurance to cover it, and even then there’s a hefty copayment. This is why some people travel to Europe where the treatment cost + travel and accommodation can be close to the copayment. I hope someone from the US weighs in on the process for referral if presumably you cannot just do it yourself? If the treatment is done at the right time, usually early, but with active symptoms and recent progression, the success rate in slowing or halting it can be 85% or more.
