Hello Dr. Seegenschmiedt, I have met with 2 radiation oncologists in Dallas, TX. One recommends treating my Dupuytren's with the traditional 5 day treatment, wait 10-12 weeks, then another 5 day treatment. The other doctor prefers 7 day treatment without any break. He said it's basically as effective and exposes me to only 21Gy of radiation verses 30Gy. I reviewed your 2015 presentation which is on the internet, and at that time, you said the best course of treatment was the 5 day treatment, wait 12 weeks, followed with another 5 day treatment. Do you still prefer the 10 day treatment?

Also, you recommend Excipial Lipo Lotion for hand care. I have not seen this in the US. Doctors here recommend Radiaplex Gel, aloe vera gel, Aquaphor, or Miaderm? Texas Oncology like Radiplex Gel. Do you have any preference among the above?

I wash my hands frequently as I have a pet, as well as before meals, after bathroom, etc. Do I need to apply it after every hand wash?

Hi I had RT administered in 2017 in Essen by Prof Seegenschmeid . Because I came from Australia we decided to have the second 15Gy some 12 week later as time is not that important. The advantage is one you can judge how good the initial R t treatment was and should any new nodules be found the area can be treated.
In my case the right hand had the initial 5day 15Gy and when I returned I did not receive any further RT to my right hand . I also had Rt for Leederhose to both feet and on my return the area on one foot was increased to cover the extra nodules.

Your choice. Nearly forgot use a creme containing 10% Urea as this retains moisture which the Prof recommended.
