hi my name is mike i live in new zealand and have just had the sugery and i am worryed about the desese comming back.
let me tell you all sometheng about myself, i love guitar and play in 2 bands that do gigs here and seem to be making some headway in the music indstrey (no small feat here)
to be honest this sugery has ne very scared and worryed about my guitar future i love heavy metal and wish to make it my liveing
i do have a question about smokeing i.e how strong is the link between smokeing and DC?
any comments will be very welcome

I wouldn't worry to much.

I'm a whistle player who also plays lots, and i've got Dupuytren. I already had a small operation on my hand.
I went to different doctors and they all i just have to go on and don't have to be afraid ... You have to learn to live with it (there's no other option)

But my opinion is: go for needle aprovement (NA). It's MUCH more safer for keeping 'good fingers' (at least if you find a good doctor with experience and who followed course in Paris). Surgery is the last thing i would go for, for sure if you're a musician. Good luck!
