Re: NA. IN QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA. Dr. Jennifer GREEN.

Hi Newman and others ... I am interested in info about Dr Green ....I have had NA in France several years ago Dr Badois which was good but it came back after 2 years ...then with Mr Hunter - Smith in Vic which was also good but I have since had a relapse after 15 months , he does the full surgery thing full anasthetic in a theatre etc which is fine but it adds to the cost considerably , still in and out ina day but unlike France where you walk in and out after about an hour.

Does anyone know if Dr Greene does NA as a walk in walk out ??

cheers

Re: NA. IN QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA. Dr. Jennifer GREEN.

Hi All:

I visited Dr Green in March 2007 at St George Private in Sydney for her opinion on NA.

She was extremely dismissive at the time (she may well have changed her mind), and recommended a standard fasciectomy. As I recall, her take was this: NA was commonly performed in France by rheumatologists/specialists in arthritis. It did not often work, but the suffering patient then got referred to a hand surgeon, not the guy who did the procedure. So the rheumatologists said it was brilliant, but rarely saw the consequences of their failure.

Just my opinion, which may not be Dr Green's current opinion.

Garry

Hi Garry . Dr Green has just relisted on this site for NA treatment. I hope a lot more water has passed under the bridge since 07 and practitioners are becoming more savy! Regards
