Welcome BioSpecifics Forum Refugees!!!
While I'm gland you found us, it is a tragedy that BioSpecifics has allowed it's Forum to be ground to a halt by Spam. Hopefully they will realize what it's going to take to save their Forum, but meanwhile, welcome to Wolfgang's site! We are gland you are here. Go ahead and register and say Hi. Might as well use your old BioS name so we know who you are. |

Re: Welcome BioSpecifics Forum Refugees!!!
I've all but stopped checking the BioSpecifics site. Their forum software is antiquated, making it tedious and time-consuming to maintain their forum. Without a complete site upgrade, I'm not looking for things to get any better. It's not even obvious just what BioSpecifics - as a company - actually does, anymore, other than wait for the big checks to start rolling in from Auxilium. |

Re: BioSpecifics Forum
Those who have been using the BioS forum in former years know that there have been good posts but now spam buries them under a growing pile of trash. We thought about conserving good stuff from the BioS forum by re-posting it here. I had done that manually for a few posts but to do it systmatically would require data conversion. BioS is not willing to support anything and the guy who devloped our forum sw felt unable to do it without BioS' support. Maybe we can find someone else who can do the conversion from html into php files (I have a not too old html bakup of the forum). Data conversion still would require assessment of the content of each post which is a scary thought ...

Re: Welcome BioSpecifics Forum Refugees!!!
I've followed the Bio S site for probably 4 years or so and have made a few posts form time to time. Too bad about it as well, good to see there is an alternative. I'm 52 with both dups and LD but not too bad at this point. I have one visit to Dr. Eaton under my belt about 2 1/2 years ago and the finger remains straight. Look forward to following events here. |

Re: Welcome BioSpecifics Forum Refugees!!!
Another refugee from the BioS web site. It has now been two months to the day since my NA with Dr. Denkler. Any and ALL temporary side affects are now completely resolved (as of about 1 month ago as I recall). Physical therapy completed at about one month. Voluntarily still wearing night splint. 90 degree PIP small finger contracture corrected to about 25 degrees. Ecstatic as to results. CA Blue Cross POS opted to reimburse Dr. Denkler's fee in full (Dr. Denkler does not accept insurance but will provide a treatment form that can be submitted). My only out of pocket costs were travel up from LA (with my wife). Showed my hand to my GP. He is absolutely convinced that NA is the way to go vs. tradtional surgery. |

Re: Welcome BioSpecifics Forum Refugees!!!
Clarence, I will mail you what I have (it's not the latest but from Oct 06). maybe I can also get a spec how the data should look for this forum (it's all ASCII). If you could convert them that would be great!
