This is a significant step forward in the acceptance of this non-invasive procedure. While the Phase III trials on Collagenase continue, the product is still two years away at best. Meanwhile this very similar procedure (NA) is available in a growing number of locations.

At one point in the patient driven "NA movement" (which successfully brought NA to the US and expanded it's availability) it was felt by many that a surgeon needed to be trained by the French to be considered acceptable. Now that Americans Eaton/Denkler/Press are instructing in the US those days are over. For better or worse, the Americans have snatched the pebble from the hands of the French and are running with the ball without further help. This was inevitable.

However, Now that Dr. Borland has consulted personally with Dr Eaton all the NA doctors mentioned on this site do have a lineage of training that goes directly back to the French. That may be the case for some time.
