My last 2 surgerys were open palm.The third one was 50 plus stitches.They took the dressing off after 2 weeks and said oh that looks good.I said looks like it was caught in the meat grinder.I cut meat for a living.Any way i hope my days under the knife r over.It will be back just when is the question.

That means he didnt go far enough up the finger.My left hand he went to the knuckle to get it all

It sounds like you analyzed thoughly your hands, your disease, and all the options. You then decided what would most likely work for your disease. The best thing would be to not have the disease, but we don't get that option. No treatment is ideal, but there are choices.
It is very helpful to me to see the thought behind your plan to use Xiaflex and why. Seeing your considerations helps in better understanding when Xiaflex would be a good choice or the lesser of the other "evils". Thanks for taking the time to let us get in your head about how you arrived at your decision. Hope I never have need more treatment of any kind, but I can see that Xiaflex may be the best choice in some circumstances with this weird disease.
