There is a list of doctors who are trained in NA it is located at www.dupuytren.org Dr. Eaton of Jupiter Florida www.handcenter.org and Dr. Spacek (Montreal Quebec) are the only two doctors in North America who appear on this list.

There is a doctor in Toronto named Dr. Binhammer that claims to do N.A. but when I told his secretary that I was from the U.S. she wasn't very cordial. She said that I would have to get my primary physician to fax Dr. Binhammer stating that my D.C. was critical. My doctor did that for me in Aug. 2003 but I haven't ever heard from them. When I called back after sending the fax to confirm it's arrival, she wouldn't take the time to verify its arrival. She said we get hundreds of faxes. It certainly was different when I talked with the folks at Dr. Eaton's office. They seemed interested in doing a good deed. Good luck.

Father-in-law, 73, with stage 3 in middle finger, right hand and start of contracture in palm of left hand. No pain. Looking for other patients treated by either of the above physicians. We live north of Toronto.

Does anyone have a phone number contact for this Doctor in Toronto? I am looking for an alternative to surgery. My Edmonton Alberta doctor told me that surgery in a woman's hand does not respond well and is sometimes worse after the surgery due to damaged nerves. Not very comforting. I am in stage 0-1 barely in my diseased left hand, but have about 5 nodules in the palm already Surgery waiting list is one full year here! Looking for a quicker solution.
